Dr Lois Nanzing

Lois Nanzing Daniel hails from Kaltungo Local Government Area of Gombe State. Born January 19th to the family of Manu and HajaratuKwartamSuku, She attended Government Girls' Secondary School Bauchi from 1980 -1983 and was selected to be one of the pioneer Science students at Government Girls' Science School DomaGombe, Gombe State where she completed her secondary education in 1985. She went to Bauchi College of Arts and Science (BACAS) obtaning IJME in 1988. She holds BSc (Zoology), MSc (Applied Entomolgy and Parasitology), PhD (Zoology- Parasitology) from the University of Jos, Nigeria in 1994, 1999 and 2018 respectively; AIMLT (Part 1) from Institute of Medical Laboratory Science and Technologyof Nigeria, YabaLagos in 2001; PGDE, UsmanDanfodio University, Sokoto in 2007.She served as aYouth Corper with Inland Bank of Nigeria PLC, Port-Harcourt Branch from 1994-1995; Class Teacher (Biology) with Bauchi and Gombe States from 1995-1996 and 1996-1999 respectively. She joined the services of Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, (FCAHPT) Vom, Plateau State, Nigeria as Lecturer III in 1999 where she rose to the Rank of Principal Lecturer in 2022. She has served at different Committees as Chairman, Secretary and member. Treasurer and Financial Secretary of the Academic Staff Union of Colleges of Agriculture and Allied Institutions (ASUCA) FCAHPT Vom, Financial Secretary of Integrity Cooperative Thrift and Loans Society of FCAHPT Vom, Plateau State, Nigeria; Treasurer of the Parents/Teachers Association, Unity Private Primary School Trade Centre, Kuru, Jos South LGA, Plateau State. She is currently the Dean, School of Science and Information Technology and resident in the Department of Science Laboratory Technology, FCAHPT Vom. She is also the Coordinator of Chaha Campus, FCAH&PT Vom. She joined Parasitology and Public Health Society of Nigeria (PPSN) in 2006, presently serving as an Exco of the PPSN Vom Chapter, currently appointed member of the Conference Management Committee of the Society. Dr Lois Daniel has published several articles in local and international journals. She is married and blessed with two male and one female children.
